To this end, we have established the "Intelligent Transport System Basic Plan 2030" and the "Mobility Innovation Roadmap" and are implementing advanced ITS technologies to realize mobility innovation in the daily lives of our citizens.

Since 1997, Suwon Special City has been a pioneer in actively utilizing ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems), continuously developing a future-oriented traffic system with its extensive ITS experience. The city has introduced innovative ITS solutions, including the nation’s first 'Emergency Vehicle Priority Signal System,' AI-based smart intersections, and real-time bus information systems. Through these advancements, Suwon provides a safe and convenient transportation environment for its citizens while establishing sustainable transportation infrastructure.

Established in 1969, the Korea Expressway Corporation is a public enterprise responsible for the construction and maintenance of highways in South Korea, with the goal of becoming a future-oriented transportation platform company that is safer and more convenient. Starting with the establishment of the "Basic Plan for Highway ITS" in 1991, the corporation has proactively developed intelligent transportation systems through initiatives such as the nationwide implementation of a "Toll Collection System(TCS)," nationwide IoT infrastructure, and "C-ITS Demonstrations," working diligently to create a future-oriented highway environment.

ITS Korea is a private organization established to promote the development and dissemination of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). It facilitates collaboration between the public and private sectors in the ITS field. Additionally, ITS Korea supports the advancement of ITS technologies, policy advice, research and development, standardization, international cooperation, and expansion into overseas markets, contributing to the efficient implementation of ITS and the enhancement of the national ITS brand value.
